History
ORCA RESTORATION GmbH was founded in 2017 by graduate engineer (TH) Alfred Kist; Marco Edlmayer has also been Managing Director since 2023. The company is located in a district of the small town of Eberdingen near Stuttgart. Behind a neutral new building façade, treasures and treasures from the world of motorsport are restored, rebuilt and also serviced. The company combines old mechanical craftsmanship with today’s state-of-the-art technology. Optical measuring systems, such as an ‘Atos Triple scan’ from GOM GmbH – also used by most car manufacturers – and mechanical measuring devices enable the team at Orca Restoration to create a CAD drawing of old or defective parts for which there are no longer any design documents and to produce the required parts using a 3D printer or a 5-axis CNC machine. The ORCA specialists also have a steel precision levelling platform for the repair or new production of chassis and bodywork as well as a paint shop at their disposal.

Staff
Today, the ORCA RESTORATION team consists of the two managing directors Alfred Kist and Marco Edlmayer as well as five employees, plus external specialists for special tasks as required.
